1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using The Path Project website (thepathproject.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
The Path Project provides career development tools, assessments, resources and educational content, including but not limited to:
- Pathway Assessment and related diagnostic tools
- Values Finder and other self-assessment tools
- Mentor Mapping tool
- Job listings and career resources
- Educational content and newsletters
- Community features and member directory
3. Membership Plans and Pricing
3.1 Free Membership
We offer a free membership tier that provides limited access to our tools and resources.
3.2 PATH Member (Paid Subscription)
- Price: $49.00 per year
- Billing: Your subscription will automatically renew each year on the anniversary of your initial purchase
- Automatic Renewal: YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AND YOUR PAYMENT METHOD WILL BE CHARGED $49.00 ANNUALLY UNTIL YOU CANCEL
3.3 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing. Any price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will apply to your next billing cycle.
4. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
4.1 Automatic Renewal Terms
By purchasing a PATH Member subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period
- Your payment method on file will be charged the then-current subscription rate
- Automatic renewals will continue until you cancel
4.2 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Logging into your account at thepathproject.com/my-path/
- Navigating to your account settings
- Clicking “Cancel Subscription”
You may also cancel by emailing us at info@thepathproject.com.
4.3 Effect of Cancellation
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of your paid period
- No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period
5. Refund Policy
- Refund requests should be sent to info@thepathproject.com
- Refunds are not available after the 14-day period or for renewal charges
- To avoid renewal charges, please cancel before your renewal date
6. User Accounts
6.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
6.2 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to other users or the service.

All content on The Path Project, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, assessments, tools and software, is owned by The Path Project or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our services for your personal, non-commercial use.
8.3 Your Content
By submitting content to our platform (such as profile information or community posts), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display and distribute that content in connection with our services.
9. Third-Party Services
Our service may integrate with third-party services (such as LinkedIn for profile data). Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PATH PROJECT PROVIDES CAREER DEVELOPMENT TOOLS AND RESOURCES FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Our assessments and tools are not professional career counseling, therapy or employment services. For professional advice, please consult qualified professionals.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PATH PROJECT, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE OR GOODWILL, OR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Path Project, LLC and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to contact us at info@thepathproject.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
13.3 Jurisdiction
Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms on our website
- Updating the “Last Updated” date
- Sending an email notification for significant changes
Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Severability
